Clean Up Day 2024 – we've cleaned up together!

This year's "Clean Up Day" took place on Saturday, September 14th. We from QV Wallisellen Süd were part of it – and collected a lot of rubbish.

“Clean Up Day” took place on Saturday, September 14, 2024 – a Switzerland-wide campaign against littering and for a clean environment. We at QV Wallisellen were part of it – and collected a lot of rubbish.

Despite the wet and cool weather, 13 people joined our team and searched the area for discarded or left-behind items. In addition to energy drink cans, broken glass bottles and countless cigarette butts, a remote control and a out-of-service pizza oven were also found.

It was the fourth time that QV Wallisellen Süd took part in the annual “Clean Up Day” - in partnership with the Green Liberal Party (GLP) of Wallisellen. A reporter from the “Anzeiger von Wallisellen” documented this year’s campaign. The newspaper article can be read here (german).
